The NEW Gen6 HD (with attached HD lock) and the NEW Gen6 SP (with Smart Padlock Tag) alarming tethers allow you to switch the entire alarm component or just the battery without removing the tether from the merchandise or the fixture. The NEW Gen6 alarming tether allows you to replace the alarm component, the retractable tether base, and the battery with ease. No need to remove the tether from the merchandise or the fixture, costing valuable labor. Allows you to reuse the functioning part of the unit saving you on product cost and saving space in landfills. With our Heavy Duty 49 strand coated steel cable and attached tag, the Gen6 HD now has 120+ lb. pull strength.  The Gen6 SP comes with the NEW Smart PadlockTag which will allow you to deactivate the alarm from the tag itself. Alarming function is easily activated with no tool necessary and cannot be manipulated without the Decoder.  Turn unit off with handheld All-in-1 Decoder or Easy Switch. When not protecting product (Pin is not locked) it will go into standby mode. T-Stop to secure tether “lead” position, preventing smaller merchandise from being pulled off balance and allowing proper merchandising of displays.
